Mt Tamalpais, W6/CC-063

I did my first SOTA activation on Memorial Day 2020. I decided to try to activate Mt Tamalpais, W6/CC-063. Because I've lived most of my life in the Bay Area and have spent many days hiking, running, and biking the hills of Marin, I'm very familiar with Mt Tam and it was a natural place to start SOTA adventuring.

Because of the ongoing COVID crisis, access to the mountain is somewhat limited. During normal times, you can drive very close to the activation zone, but these days you're in for a long walk.

So I parked and I walked. It was v hot. It was 10 miles, here's the Strava.
